Ever tried prising a hardened nerd from his console of choice? It’s not easy. But since 1995, the Los Angeles Convention Centre’s 720,000 square feet of exhibition space have just about done the trick. For it’s here that the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) takes place, showcasing the gaming industry’s biggest upcoming titles, as well as the latest developments in hardware and peripherals.
With 40,000 on the guest list, 2009’s show is set to be the biggest in recent years. Meaning not only will World Of Warcraft’s servers get to heave a much-needed sigh of relief, but there’ll also be a bigger buzz than ever around titles like BioShock 2, DJ Hero and the new Assassin’s Creed. We’ll be highlighting the big five announcements from each day of the show, (running from June 2-4) so keep your eyes pointed this way for the latest news on the biggest games.
